Fearless (Taylor's Version) is a re-recording of American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's second studio album, Fearless (2008). It was released on April 9, 2021, through Republic Records, as the first of six re-recorded albums Swift plans to release, following the dispute regarding ownership of her first six albums. Fearless (Taylor's Version) consists of all of the 19 tracks from the platinum edition of Fearless (2008), her 2010 soundtrack single "Today Was a Fairytale", and six additional "From the Vault" songs that were not included in the 2008 album. Fearless (Taylor's Version) replicates the instrumentation of the 2008 recording, produced by Swift and Christopher Rowe; Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner co-produced the vault tracks with Swift. Of the album's 26 songs, 12 were written solely by Swift. Three others feature guest vocals from Colbie Caillat, Maren Morris and Keith Urban. The album's release was preceded by three singles: "Love Story (Taylor's Version)" was released on February 12, 2021, followed by "You All Over Me", featuring Morris, on March 26, 2021, and "Mr. Perfectly Fine" on April 7, 2021. Fearless (Taylor's Version) received universal acclaim from music critics, who praised its nostalgic sentiment, Swift's matured vocals, and crisper production. The album reached number one in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, the United Kingdom and the United States. It became the first re-recorded album in history to top the Billboard 200 chart.
